Just then, Ryder came out of the Lookout’s elevator, all dressed in his usual outfit. I have to be ready to be on duty to guard Barkingburg’s crown at the castle.”Ĭhase turned off Officer Bear’s lullaby and placed him on top of his pup bed. “Officer Bear,” Chase replied to his plushie. I’ll meet you outside.”Ĭhase stretched and walked off his bed, only to trip over Officer Bear and fall flat on his tummy. “I’ll call Robo-Dog to bring in the Air Patroller. “That’s okay, Ryder,” Chase said before letting out a big yawn. “We’ll need to leave right now,” Ryder replied. “Sorry to wake you up so early, but the Earl of Barkingburg would like you to come to the castle and keep watch over the crown.” Officer Bear’s lullaby softly filled the air. On the ground floor of the Lookout, Chase was snoring quietly along with the other pups. Ryder clicked on Chase’s Pup Tag badge on his Pup Pad and called him. “You’re welcome, Earl,” Ryder said, before hanging up. “I’ll drop him off at Barkingburg as soon as I can.” “I’m sure he’d love to watch the crown,” Ryder replied happily. “Could Chase come to Barkingburg and watch over the crown tonight?” the Earl asked. “You’re fine, Earl,” Ryder assured the Earl as he rubbed his eyes. “Oh, I apologize if I disturbed your sleep.” ![]() “Ah, Ryder.” The Earl of Barkingburg replied. Ryder sat up, took the Pup Pad, and answered it. It was lit up with the Paw Patrol’s paw logo and ringing. He looked to his Pup Pad on his bedside table. On the bedside table in his room, Ryder’s Pup Pad rang. The sun hadn’t risen yet, but there was a slight sliver of light on the horizon, meaning the sun would be rising soon.Īt the Lookout, all the pups and Ryder were still sound asleep. It was an early winter morning in Adventure Bay, around five in the morning to be precise.
